Much of the major quarterback dominoes have already fallen during the Early Signing Period. That includes many of the nation’s best including five-stars Cade Klubnik (Clemson) and Walker Howard (LSU), and Rivals100 passers Ty Simpson (Alabama), Devin Brown (Ohio State), Conner Weigman (Texas A&M) and Gunner Stockton (Georgia).

There are still a few names looming to monitor as February’s signing day nears. Here’s four to know:

The nation’s No. 27 QB was committed to Washington State but was a victim to the coaching carousel. Six days before signing day, Lara reopened his recruitment. A top 10 player in the state of Arizona, the Wildcats are an obvious candidate to capitalize, though Arizona has already signed California three-star Noah Fifita.

The Kansas three-star was a target for both in-state programs. The Jayhawks turned up the heat over the fall after Kansas State extended an offer from Chris Klieman in the summer. Kansas signed two-star Virginia quarterback Ethan Vasko and only a handful of players. If the staff doesn’t intend to utilize the portal, it could revisit Pauley.

The Wildcats didn’t sign a quarterback, yet, leaving the door cracked on rekindling the flame with in-state product.

One of the most productive and well-rounded quarterbacks in the Lone Star State, Emanuel’s recruitment remains up in the air as February looms. Michigan and Vanderbilt could be options to pepper their recruiting hauls with multiple quarterbacks.

SMU, Arizona and Nevada have also been in touch with the Houston-area prospect, who threw for more than 2,600 yards yards and rushed for another 1,000 with 46 total touchdowns and no interceptions.

The orchestrator of one of Florida high school’s most high-powered offenses remains unsigned. Turner, the mobile passer from St. Thomas Aquinas, has been a playmaker on the field and during the Rivals Camp Series.

Turner was a target for several ACC programs, namely Louisville, Pitt and Miami, but UCLA has surfaced as a team with some steam.
