BUZZWORTHY: Kamauryn Morgan

The 2025 four-star defensive end from Red Oak, Texas already has nearly 20 offers so he’s already well-known on the recruiting circuit but maybe not enough. Morgan was in the running for MVP of the defensive line because he has devastating speed off the edge that he frankly doesn’t use enough and relies a little too much on an inside move. Morgan was the talk of the camp though because of his length and speed off the edge and the 2025 four-star just needs to trust his bend off the edge more to win even more reps.

BUZZWORTHY II: Dakyus Brinkley

One of the best-looking prospects at the entire event was Brinkley, who is listed as a four-star outside linebacker but chose to compete as a defensive end on Sunday - and did really well. The Katy (Texas) Seven Lakes standout is long and has lean muscle so it looks like he’d have no problem playing in space at an elite level and then he was aggressive and physical coming off the edge, too. In today’s game, Brinkley is the perfect edge prospect especially if he adds a few more pounds.

BODYGUARD: Michael Fasusi

Currently ranked as the No. 106 prospect in the 2025 class and the No. 11 offensive tackle in the 2025 class, Fasusi really made a statement on Sunday as one of the better offensive tackles in his class. There are some elite defensive ends in that group and it would be interesting to see the Lewisville, Texas four-star battle them because he hardly lost a rep during one-on-ones here. He has an athletic build, a frame that could actually add some more good weight and Fasusi is not afraid to use his power.

*****

SLEEPER ALERT: Shay Smith

TCU, Baylor and Syracuse have been showing the most interest in Smith, who has played linebacker in the past but was at quarterback on Sunday and he was one of the best ones there. The The El Paso (Texas) Franklin three-star athlete has a thicker build but he can still move and he had one of the stronger arms at the event. Smith zipped it all over the field, he was precise and on time with his receivers and had a really strong day.

PRECISION PASSER: Kevin Sperry

Oklahoma commit Michael Hawkins was the quarterback MVP of the event and while Sperry did not get an award, the 2025 Sooners pledge was terrific as well especially later in camp during the one-on-one session. OU is in good hands when it comes to quarterbacks over the next many years which is no surprise. Still, the Frisco (Texas) Rock Hill standout threw everything on time for his receivers, he put it only where his receivers could get it and even into a stiff wind, Sperry had no problem driving the ball.

UP-AND-COMER: Wesley Yarbrough

Injuries slowed Yarbrough last season as he only played in four games but the 2025 running back from Crosby, Texas was outstanding on Sunday and could be a major sleeper in his class. Yarbrough earned an invite to the camp after impressing Saturday at the Rivals Combine Series and he was even better Sunday doing an excellent job in blocking drills against linebackers, showing explosiveness through drills and then catching numerous passes out of the backfield. Offers could start coming soon.

YOUNG BUCK: Dereon Albert

So far, Auburn, Austin Peay, Kent State and Liberty have offered the 2026 defensive tackle from Jackson (Miss.) Jackson Academy but many more are definitely coming especially if Albert continues to play with way. Albert is already well-built, compact and strong so he can use power to win against interior offensive linemen but he’s also surprising fast off the snap and can use his speed to get thin, tough to block and into the backfield that way.

*****

YOUNG BUCK II: Ethan Feaster

Feaster already has 10 offers, has the nickname “Boobie” and after Sunday’s performance looks like a total star in the making. The 2027 athlete from DeSoto, Texas starred at wide receiver and was arguably the best one at the event. Numerous camp staffers were talking about how good Feaster was during 1-on-1 reps as he used his long, lean frame to separate and make things happen all day long. In the coming years, he could be unstoppable.

STAR IN THE MAKING: Romin Seymour

At the National Combine in San Antonio over the holidays, Seymour definitely looked the part. On Sunday at camp, the 2026 quarterback from Manvel, Texas who is already 6-foot-4 looked like he could easily have more than a dozen offers. So far, Texas A&M, Houston and Pitt have offered Seymour but many more could be on the way since he has the size, arm strength and placement of high-end quarterbacks.

ENERGY SUPPLY: Dealyn Evans

The Texas A&M commit from Longview (Texas) Pine Tree didn’t make the two-hour trek to Dallas to sit on the sidelines. Evans came to compete and the four-star did a phenomenal job during one-on-ones dominating both outside and inside. He was probably even more productive moving inside and overpowering some offensive guards or using his speed to get around them. Evans was also great off the edge but didn’t dominate as much there.

MILLION DOLLAR BUILD: Cheta Ofili

Ofili was one of the more intriguing prospects at the Dallas Camp. The high three-star from Sachse, Texas who is committed to Texas Tech competed as a defensive end but he still has a frame that could add a lot of weight. Playing in space could be his specialty and using his speed and playmaking ability as an edge could be in his future with the Red Raiders because he’s already muscled up on a lean frame and stands to only get bigger - and better - from here. Ofili is a very impressive athlete with a ton of upside.
