Rivals 3 Stripe Camp Atlanta: Predictions on top prospects

ALPHARETTA, Ga. — After spending time around some of the top prospects in the Southeast at the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp presented by adidas, here are some predictions based on the intel gathered last weekend.

The latest: Hill is keeping his options open and he always says all the right things, but it is likely to come down to Auburn, Clemson and Georgia. You cannot rule out Florida and Florida State, along with a few others, but the Tigers and Bulldogs are strongly being considered.

He has visited each school multiple times, but when it is this close, the in-state school is the one I lean towards. His teammate Jake Fromm signed with the Dawgs in 2017, he knows he can see the field very early at center there and while this race is very close, Georgia is in a good position.

Prediction: Georgia

The latest: Eagles took visits to Clemson and Georgia following the appearance at Sunday’s camp and picked up an offer from the Tigers. Georgia was on the top-ten list of schools that he released earlier in this spring, but his interest in Clemson could shake up the list. He’s going to take his recruitment right up to National Signing Day, so anything could still happen, but Oklahoma has felt like the safe guess for some time now.

Prediction: Oklahoma

The latest: After a visit to Alabama over the weekend, Horn returned home publicly stating that the Crimson Tide was on top. There is no timeline for Horn to make his decision, but Alabama does not lose too many that it leads for and pursues. South Carolina and Tennessee are two others to keep an eye on, Georgia and Ohio State remain in the discussion, but Alabama looks to be in a great spot in this race.

Prediction: Alabama

The latest: There is a battle between Auburn and Florida. Texas recently offered and Martin may give the Longhorns and a few other schools a look, but in the end, it is likely to be the Tigers or Gators. This one is very tight. Auburn is the in-state school, but Florida blew Martin and his family away on their visit to the Swamp not that long ago. As of today, the Gators seem to be the team to beat, but this one could really be too close to call.

Prediction: Florida

The latest: Jackson is nowhere near a decision and he is not giving too much away when he does interviews. His latest offer is from Georgia Tech, the school he visited last Friday, and then he followed that up with a visit to Georgia on Saturday. The perception is that the Bulldogs are the favorite, but Auburn and Florida State are two other schools to keep an eye on. He is planning to take his recruitment late into the fall.

Prediction: Georgia

The latest: Armstrong has his list down to four, Auburn, Florida State, Penn State and Tennessee. We will likely not have to wait much longer for him to reveal his decision. Penn State is the one that sticks out being it outside the region, and the Nittany Lions made a strong impression when they hosted him earlier this year. The buzz seems to be around Florida State. He visited Tallahassee (Fla.) the first two weekends of April.

Prediction: Florida State
