RELATED: Big 12 2017 class updates

Conference rank: 3

National rank: 29

Headliner: Four-star ATH Kam White

Overview: With 17 commitments, this is a nice start for the Cyclones. White, who can play many positions, will likely be a thumping safety for Iowa State and is a great get from Mississippi. This is a well-balanced class with standouts on defense in linebacker O’Rien Vance and defensive back with Richard Bowens III and one of my super sleepers in the class, cornerback Quran Hafiz. On offense, quarterback Devin Moore has great size and a strong arm while wide receiver Joshua Johnson is another big get, like White and Hafiz, from SEC country. JUCO defensive back Octavious Morgan should impact early, and offensive lineman Alex Kleinow was a nice in-state keep.
