Overview: Utah is slow out of the gates in this recruiting class with only four pledges, none from in-state high school prospects, but the Utes have done a nice job in Texas so far. Most recently, Utah landed a pledge from Shelley, a three-star dual-threat recruit who didn’t have a major offer list but is a talented recruit. Utah also grabbed the McCollum Bros., Tristin and Zyon, out of the Lone Star State, too. The Utes might not have jumped on a lot of early commits, but the state has tremendous talent this year and many top prospects are seriously considering the Utes.
