Overview: UCLA is dealing with a serious problem of losing recruits, shedding a half dozen pledges already this recruiting cycle, but luckily Phillips seems locked in and that’s great news because he could be a game-changer. The five-star is one of the best-looking recruits in the entire country and he’s reaffirmed his pledge to the Bruins. JUCO offensive lineman Ronald Rudd and four-star Kanan Ray are also on the program's commit list. On Wednesday, three-star Jaylan Shaw pledged to the Bruins after another visit and Shaw could be one of the real sleepers in the West this recruiting cycle. Other commits could be coming soon, too.
