1. Cleveland Browns

QB Sam Darnold, USC Josh Rosen is the better pick, but the Browns won’t take the risk on Rosen due to the rumors of his poor attitude. It will be a quarterback and I’m guessing Darnold.

2. New York Giants

RB Saquon Barkley, Penn State It could be Rosen, but the gap between Barkley and the next running back is a big one, and the Giants need a franchise back.

3. Indianapolis Colts

DE Bradley Chubb, NC State The best rush end in the draft goes to a team that needs help badly in the pass rush area.

4. Cleveland Browns

DB Minkah Fitzpatrick, Alabama Pair him with Jabrill Peppers and improve that secondary in a big way. He’s the best defensive player aside from Chubb in the draft and the Browns need help.

5. Denver Broncos

QB Josh Rosen, UCLA The Broncos need a franchise quarterback and they have the guts to take the best one in the draft.

6. New York Jets

QB Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma Josh Allen? Nope, he’s too much of a risk and Mayfield could be the safest bet of all the quarterbacks.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

DE Marcus Davenport, UTSA The Bucs could be tempted to go on Quenton Nelson but they need rush end help more.

8. Chicago Bears

OL Quenton Nelson, Notre Dame The Bears are thrilled to have the best offensive linemen in the draft fall to them here.

9. San Francisco 49ers

CB Denzel Ward, Ohio State The top corner on the board available here? The 49ers will gladly jump on Ward.

10. Oakland Raiders

LB Roquan Smith, Georgia A toss-up between Smith and Tremaine Edmunds here for the Raiders as they add to the defense.

11. Miami Dolphins

QB Josh Allen, Wyoming A risky take here and the Dolphins were hoping Rosen or Mayfield would slide down to this spot, but they need a quarterback.

12. Cincinnati Bengals

OL Orlando Brown, Oklahoma The Bengals need help at tackle and Brown could be a lynchpin for the offense for years to come.

13. Washington Redskins

DT Vita Vea, Washington A huge, athletic defensive tackle can immediately help the defense.

14. Green Bay Packers

DB Josh Jackson, Iowa The best ball skills for a defender in the draft and just what the doctor ordered for the Green Bay defense.

15. Arizona Cardinals

WR Calvin Ridley, Alabama The need to replace Larry Fitzgerald is on the Cards' mind here and no legit quarterback fell this far.

16. Baltimore Ravens

OT Connor Williams, Texas The Ravens were hoping Ridley would be here and they need wide receiver help, but passing on Williams would be too much.

17. L.A. Chargers

LB Tremaine Edmunds, Virginia Tech The most athletic linebacker in the draft is too much to pass up here for the Chargers despite other needs.

18. Seattle Seahawks

OL Mike McGlinchey, Notre Dame The Seahawks need offensive line help and McGlinchey is a top talent they can’t pass on.

19. Dallas Cowboys

DT Da’Ron Payne, Alabama The Cowboys need help in the middle and Payne is a run stuffer who can also flush the quarterback.

20. Detroit Lions

DB Derwin James, Florida State The Lions could use an edge rusher, but James sliding this far is exactly what they wanted.

21. Buffalo Bills

OL Billy Price, Ohio State With back-to-back picks the Bills can fill a specific need with the first one and then take best available with pick No. 2.

22. Buffalo Bills

CB Mike Hughes, UCF The Bills struck gold last draft in Tre’Davious White and now they can pair him with Hughes, who has a great skill set as well.

23. L.A. Rams

LB Rashaan Evans, Alabama Yet another ‘Bama pick, Evans fits a need on defense as a linebacker who can cover a lot of ground.

24. Carolina Panthers

WR Courtland Sutton, SMU The Panthers need more offensive help at wide receiver and Sutton is a big and athletic target.

25. Tennessee Titans

LB Harold Landry, Boston College The Titans want an edge rusher who can improve the pass rush and Landry fits the bill as a hybrid.

26. Atlanta Falcons

OL Isaiah Wynn, Georgia Interior line help is needed, so taking the local guard the Falcons know a ton about makes sense.

27. New Orleans Saints

QB Lamar Jackson, Louisville The Saints take the chance here and try to strike gold. They have a young team, but Drew Brees will need a replacement soon and putting Jackson in that backfield down the line seems intriguing.

28. Pittsburgh Steelers

LB Ogbonnia Okorokwo, Oklahoma This may seem like a stretch but he can play standing up and also will add to the pass rush.

29. Jacksonville Jaguars

TE Mark Andrews, Oklahoma A tight end, especially a big target, is a need for the Jags and Andrews fits the bill.

30. Minnesota Vikings

DT Maurice Hurst, Michigan A gap-shooting defensive tackle will add to an already dominant defense and this is a great value at the end of the first round.

31. New England Patriots

CB Isaiah Oliver, Colorado The Pats need cornerback help in a big way and Oliver is an athletic and heady one.

32. Philadelphia Eagles

RB Ronald Jones, USC A weapon such as Jones will help the offense and complement the current stable of running backs quite well.
