WHAT WENT RIGHT ...
Mike Elko's first full recruiting haul as the head coach of the Aggies finished inside the top 10 of the team recruiting rankings. Texas A&M made a massive imprint inside the Lone Star State, evident by notable in-state signees four-star OL Marcus Garcia, four-star DL D.J. Sanders and four-star WR Kelshaun Johnson. The Aggies turned it up another gear down the stretch, flipping and inking blue-chip recruits like QB Brady Hart, OT Lamont Rogers, RB Jamarion Morrow and WR Jerome Myles.
WHAT WENT WRONG ...
Texas A&M had more flips in the barrel during the Early Signing Period. The Aggies made strong pushes to flip four-star LB Keylan Moses away from rival LSU and five-star OT Michael Fasusi from Oklahoma before coming up just short.
PARTING PREDICTION
Don't forget the name D.J. Sanders as he will be among the most dominant interior defensive linemen in the SEC before long. Elko's bread and butter during his first stint in College Station was building out a fearsome defensive front. Sanders, who uses his explosive play-style and physicality more than his words, headlines a stellar group of DL headed to Texas A&M along with Landon Rink and Chase Sims.
