Rivals is breaking down each Top 25 recruiting class and we continue here with No. 4 Ohio State.

TRANSFER PORTAL OPENS MONDAY: Offensive transfers available | Defensive transfers available
WHAT WENT RIGHT ...
The Buckeyes landed the No. 1 player in the country, quarterback Tavien St. Clair, to be the face of the offense. On the other side of the ball the best cornerback in the country, five-star Devin Sanchez is coming to town.
Those two as building blocks of the offense and defense are outstanding.
WHAT WENT WRONG ...
If there is one knock on Ohio State’s class it’s not being able to close with elite players in the trenches. Jahkeem Stewart signed with USC and David Sanders stuck with Tennessee. The Buckeyes landed some very good players in the trenches though so this is almost a nitpick.
OSU did lose five-star defensive back Na’eem Offord when he flipped to Oregon.
PARTING PREDICTION ...
Prediction: Every linebacker in this Ohio State class will be an NFL Draft pick.
One thing that has almost become overlooked about this class is that the group of linebackers is terrific. Five-star Riley Pettijohn, four-star Tarvos Alford and four-star Eli Lee will become fixtures on the Buckeyes’ defense before all getting drafted.
