National Signing Day has come and gone and while the 2025 class is not finished since there is a late signing period in February as well, most of the action happened this week.

Rivals is breaking down each Top 25 recruiting class and we continue here with No. 3 Georgia.

WHAT WENT RIGHT ...

As usual, the Bulldogs loaded up in the trenches and the 2025 haul featured plenty of damage among big-bodied recruits. Five-stars Elijah Griffin and Isaiah Gibson pace a loaded front-seven haul while Mason Short leads a five-man group of future blockers on the other side of the ball.

More against the grain, in a good way, was how UGA attacked the wide receiver position, signing four head-turning recruits led by America's No. 8 wideout projection in Talyn Taylor.

Throw in secondary depth, two tight ends that complement one another and the late security of holding on to long time quarterback commitment Ryan Montgomery despite Florida's push – and it was another 'as expected' cycle for one of the nation's perennial powers.

WHAT WENT WRONG ...

All UGA fans have to do on this side of the coin is point to Friday, where one of the prospects the Bulldogs had been trending to get a signature from the longest picked a new conference rival. Justus Terry's decision to play for Texas over in-state Georgia not only cost Kirby Smart and company another five-star on the nation's top defensive line class, but also the second spot in the team rankings as UT jumped the Bulldogs to close out the week.

Losing out on another former commitment in running back Ousmane Kromah, who Florida State flipped on Wednesday, also stung to a degree.

PARTING PREDICTION

Prediction: The most impactful front-seven player brought in will be Zayden Walker.

His combination of pure athleticism and pass-rushing upside from the edge or depth makes him a chess piece to be moved throughout Glenn Schuman's scheme.
