The large majority of committed prospects in the Mid-Atlantic remain solid with their choices, but this is the time of year when teams get desperate and coaches start to feel their seat warming up. Here are four committed players from the Mid-Atlantic that could end up flipping to another school.

Committed to: USC
Challenging: North Carolina, Clemson, Maryland, Florida, Pittsburgh, Michigan
The latest: Salahuddin, who is planning on taking all of his official visits, committed to USC over the summer but just took an official visit to North Carolina in late September. Clemson and Michigan will also probably get official visits. Maryland will always be a contender for Salahuddin because the Terps are just right up the road from his school and they have strong ties there. USC has done a good job of making sure it is staying on Salahuddin, but all of these visits are certainly worrisome.
Committed to: North Carolina
Challenging: NC State, Clemson
The latest: Wilson seemed like a lock to end up at North Carolina after he committed this past May, but the Tar Heels are having a rough season and some local teams are looking to take advantage of the situation. NC State has always recruited Wilson very heavily and the Wolfpack got him on campus for a game recently. They are keeping their foot on the gas and hoping Wilson flips. Clemson has shown renewed interest as well.
Committed to: West Virginia
Challenging: North Carolina, Florida
The latest: West Virginia landed Brown's commitment at the end of April, but that hasn't stopped North Carolina and Florida from chasing him. The Mountaineers have a very strong relationship with Brown, and the coaches and players talk to each other multiple times a week. North Carolina hosted Brown for the Notre Dame game two weeks ago and the Tar Heels are leaning on former high school teammate Khaliel Rogers to help flip Brown. Florida is hanging around as well and hoping to get Brown to Gainesville for a visit.
Committed to: Miami
Challenging: Alabama, Florida, Michigan
The latest: Jobe, a long-time Miami commit, is finishing out his high school career in Connecticut but did make it back to South Florida in September and Jobe went to campus to see the Hurricanes' coaching staff. He has said on multiple occasions that he will take visits to Alabama, Michigan and Florida, but they will likely be after the season.
