The Transfer Portal never stops with the latest big name being former four-star QB Joe Milton, who has decided to enter the portal and leave Jim Harbaugh and Michigan.

Recruiting: Milton trimmed his list of top schools to Michigan, Florida and Georgia. He took visits to each of the three, and committed to the Wolverines during the spring after his junior season.
As a Wolverine: After spot duty in 2018 and 2019, Milton won the starting job in 2020 during preseason camp. He eventually split time with Cade McNamara, and totaled 1,077 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions during the season.
Potential landing spots: Early chatter includes Miami, Florida, UCF but he could go the Group of Five route.
Farrell’s Take: Milton always had a huge arm but his accuracy was an issue out of high school and led to a few rankings drops. He’s tempting for a Power Five program as a pocket passer who can sling it but his inconsistency from high school to now is maddening. I think he’ll need to find a Group of Five program if he wants to start.
