ATLANTA – Rivals250 defensive end Marcus Stripling made some noise earlier this week when he announced the schools that he plans on taking official visits to in the fall ahead of his commitment.

Though he has no firm dates set and some things are still up in the air, it seems likely that the quintet of Alabama, LSU, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M are certainly front-runners in the hunt for them. He’s had varying degrees of familiarity with each program, but the Tigers in particular have the advantage of some more personal connections.
