TEAM WITH THE TOP COMMIT: CLEMSON

Clemson is assembling an Avengers-like cast of commitments in its 2020 class and no team is even close to matching Dabo Swinney's star power, particularly when it comes to defensive linemen. Rivals shifted five-star Bryan Bresee from defensive end to tackle, where he's the No. 1 prospect at the position in the country. Right behind Bresee is fellow five-star Myles Murphy, who committed to Clemson last month.

It's worth mentioning Clemson is also hanging tight to in-state defensive tackle Demonte Capehart, a member of the Rivals100. And the crazy part: The Tigers remain contenders for Jordan Burch, who by the way, is also a five-star.

TEAM TO WATCH: LSU

Coach Ed Orgeron has been lauded for extending LSU's recruiting reach outside of The Boot and even the Southeast as he secured commitments from prospects out in the Mid-Atlantic all the way to the Left Coast. That includes Rivals100 weak-side defensive end Demon Clowney.

The Tigers are not finished, especially as they look to add reinforcements at the line of scrimmage. They're heavily in the mix for Rivals100 tackle Jaquelin Roy and Rivals250 members Jacobian Guillory, Branard Wright and Jalen Lee, who recently cracked the group. LSU recently lured Rivals100 end Darrion Henry to campus and is in line to do the same with another top 100 lineman in Vernon Broughton. The Tigers seem poised to strike with several of the nation's top defensive linemen between now and signing day.

PROSPECT TO WATCH: JORDAN BURCH

We mentioned Burch as another possible five-star get for Clemson. If that's the case, then the Tigers would be landing one of the top three prospects in the nation.

Burch jumped 10 spots from No. 13 to No. 3 in the recent Rivals rankings update. The talented strong-side end ascended to five-star territory in the February ranking update and his stock continued to rise as more analysts got their eyes on the South Carolina standout.

Burch is a priority for a pair of local programs - South Carolina and Clemson - and has drawn comparisons to 2019 first-round pick Montez Sweat.
