MIAMI – The buzz at the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp presented by adidas was wide-ranging. A long list of prospects discussed a long list of schools courting them. Some colleges had more reason to be happy following the event, however. Below is a look at the three programs that generated the most buzz on Sunday.

MIAMI

The momentum building around Miami is no secret. The Hurricanes’ commitment list is stacked and the success seems to be compounding. Top players at Sunday’s event almost all mentioned UM, as Al Blades led a long list of elite prospects that talked up the Canes.

Blades will likely land at Miami, but wide receiver Elijah Moore was also high on the program during the event. Moore landed an invite to the Rivals Five-Star Challenge with a solid performance.

A Hurricane commit stole the show on Sunday, as offensive lineman Delone Scaifie was the day’s most dominant prospect at any position. Scaifie won the MVP award so easily that he stood up to accept his trophy moments before his name was even called. It was a great day for Miami, as everything seemed to come up orange and green.

TENNESSEE

The Vols won’t land a long list of the event’s top players, but the inroads the program continues to make in Florida was on display. Multiple campers mentioned new Tennessee wide receivers coach Kevin Beard.

Rivals100 defensive back Al Blades was one such player. Blades, who was coached by Beard at his original high school, says that he now hopes to visit Tennessee, as his former coach gave him “something to think about.”

Four-star wide receiver Dominick Watt named Tennessee and Florida as the two front-runners to land his pledge.

FLORIDA STATE

There wasn’t a ton of recruiting buzz surrounding Florida State at the event but mostly because the school didn’t have many targets at the event. What the Seminoles did have there, however, was a pair of commits that showed well.

Running back pledge James Cook took home MVP honors by taking more reps than anyone at the camp and easily winning the lot of them. Meanwhile, defensive end commit Kayode Oladele was the most physically imposing prospect in attendance.

Oladele, who has played just one season of football, is progressing rapidly when it comes to technique. He looked miles more comfortable at this weekend’s camp than he did last offseason. He trajectory is positive and he could be in for a massive senior season.
