1. CLEMSON

Clemson has always loved to recruit the Peach State and the national champs are having real success once again. Trevor Lawrence is the No. 1 prospect in the country and the two-time state champion quarterback out of Cartersville (Ga.). He committed to the Tigers in December. Justin Mascoll is a four-star defensive end out of Snellville (Ga.) South Gwinnett and Clemson offered when he was in middle school. He surprised some with a commitment just over a month ago. There are plenty of other stars in Georgia that are giving Clemson a strong look too. One is five-star offensive guard Jamaree Salyer. Another offensive lineman to keep a close eye on is Trey Hill. Darnell Jefferies is a defensive lineman who some believe his a Clemson lean. Dabo Swinney and his staff have landed two top talents in the Peach State so far and they hope they are not done.

2. OHIO STATE

The Buckeyes are putting together another elite class that is projected to finish in the top five and they could have multiple signees from the state of Georgia. Emory Jones is a quarterback out of Franklin (Ga.) Heard County and he is one of two five-stars on the Ohio State commitment list. And defensive end Brenton Cox was next, committing to the Buckeyes on Tuesday night. Could his teammate, wide receiver Marquez Ezzard follow? They would love to play together. Now what about linebacker Michael Harris out of Tucker (Ga.)? He publicly has the Buckeyes on top. Jamaree Salyer has Ohio State in his top group as well and the five-star will likely take an official visit to Columbus. A couple of defensive backs that continue to list the Buckeyes near or at the top of their lists are Tre Douglas, Chris Smith and Christian Tutt.

3. MICHIGAN

It seemed to all start last August when 2018 defensive tackle Aubrey Solomon and 2019 safety Otis Reese took an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor. Both shocked many and committed to Jim Harbaugh on that trip. Solomon decommitted, but eventually signed with the Wolverines. Reese is still strong in his commitment. Myles Sims and Christian Turner are a top cornerback and running back out of Georgia that have recently committed to Michigan. Chris Smith is close friends with Sims and he is another one to keep a close eye on.

4. MINNESOTA

How about P.J. Fleck and his staff going into the state of Georgia and convincing talented prospects in the South to head north to be Gophers? It is impressive what they have done in the last couple of months in Georgia. Four of the 12 commitments at this time have come out of Georgia. Athlete Terell Smith and running back Nolan Edmonds committed within two days just over a month ago. Since then, the Gophers have added edge rusher Abi Okonji and offensive tackle Oyenmwen Uzebu. Who else out of Georgia could head north? Former Tennessee commit Bryson Richardson is one who has high interest and the Gophers could be considered the frontrunner.
