1. Zach Evans is a perfect fit in the Ole Miss offense.
Farrell’s take: FACT. I absolutely love this fit for Evans, who is transferring from TCU to Ole Miss. Lane Kiffin did wonders with Najee Harris at Alabama and Evans reminds me of Jerrion Ealy already with his burst. Evans can catch the ball out of the backfield and be a matchup problem as a slot receiver, but it’s his home run ability that excites me and Ole Miss fans. This is a five-star talent and a difference-maker right away.

2. Zach Calzada is an upgrade at quarterback for Auburn over Bo Nix.
Farrell’s take: FICTION. Calzada is a serviceable quarterback who can have his hot days - as we saw against Alabama - but he’s also very up and down and had some bad moments at Texas A&M. The same can be said of Nix, so this comparison comes down to arm talent and mobility, and Nix blows Calzada away in both. Auburn is stepping backwards if Calzada is the Tigers' guy.

3. Georgia should be favored over Alabama.
Farrell’s take: FICTION. Why are the Dawgs favored here? What am I missing? Alabama trounced Georgia a month ago in the SEC title game, and Nick Saban should never be bet against. Georgia looked very good against Michigan and Alabama had to use its power game against Cincinnati, but c’mon. This is still Alabama. I’d never bet against the Tide, so giving me points is silly. As of this writing it’s Georgia as about a 2.5-point favorite. That’s crazy.
