BEST QUARTERBACK

"Bryce Young has got a quick delivery and his feet work really fast." - 2019 QB Ryan Hilinski, Orange (Calif.) Lutheran

"Tyler Shough, he just has a rocket arm plus accuracy." – Hilinksi

Bryce Young. He’s a really good quarterback.” -- Rivals100 ATH Jaiden Woodbey, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco

BEST RUNNING BACK

Branden Rankins, that dude is real. He’s got power, he’s fast. He’s got power in his legs. I’ve been keeping up with him since I was a freshman. He’s had 2,000-yard seasons. He’s a tough one.” – Rivals100 LB Solomon Tuliaupupu, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei

Austin Jones. He was really tough to cover in space.” - Tuliaupupu

BEST WIDE RECEIVER

"Amon-Ra (St. Brown), he just dominated and he is physical." – three-star CB Desmond Talley, Long Beach (Calif.) Poly

Devon Cooley: He was nice off the line. Everyone else was just alright.” – Rivals100 DB Isaac Taylor-Stuart, San Diego (Calif.) St. Augustine

Jalen Hall: He didn’t do any one thing super-good, he was just good overall.” -- Rivals250 LB Salua Masina, Salt Lake City (Utah) Brighton

Kobe Smith. He was getting in and out of his breaks really quick. That was something he was getting me with so I had to adjust to it and sink my hips a little big quicker. It’s always hard to guard big receivers that are really quick just like the little guys.” – Woodbey

BEST TIGHT END

"Isaiah Smalls won every rep that I saw." - Talley

BEST OFFENSIVE LINEMAN

"Jonah Tauanuu moves pretty fast and has good hands." – Rivals250 OL Steven Jones, Temecula (Calif.) Chaparral

"Syr Riley is able to move with his big body." – Jones

Penei Sewell. For sure. He definitely impressed.” – Rivals250 OL Justin Dedich, Temecula (Calif.) Chaparral

Penei Sewell of course and Kekani Gonzalez, he doesn’t have any offers yet, he’s still underrated, but he did well today,” – three-star OL Chris Murray, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei

Chris Murray. He’s clamps.” – Rivals100 OL Penei Sewell, St. Georgia (Utah) Desert Hills

Chris Murray. Because he’s just all around good; for him to be not a typical offensive line size, he's good with his hands and his quickness and has good feet.” - 2019 DE Stephon Wright, Los Angeles Cathedral

Chris Murray. I just like his technique and his hands and his very patient and doesn’t rush it.” – 2019 DE Terence Simon, Los Angeles (Calif.) Cathedral

Tommy Brown. He’s strong. He’s patient and he has good technique,” three-star LB Craig Francois, Los Angeles Cathedral

Syr Riley. He has a good get off, he makes it hard for you to get around him.” – 2020 DE Jonathan Pickett, Las Vegas (Nev.) Desert Pines

Tommy Brown. He has some pretty good feet and he’s pretty balanced. It’s hard to get inside or outside against him.” – 2018 OL Matt Merrit, Clovis, Calif.

Justin Dedich for sure. He’s got a strong punch and a strong center of gravity. He stays big in the middle and he doesn’t let you get around him.” Two-star DE Kamakani Crosby, Newbury Park, Calif.

BEST DEFENSIVE LINEMAN

"Stephon Wright has good speed, is strong for his build and has good hands too." – Jones

Samson Reed. He was quick off the ball. He was explosive and I was actually surprised because I had gone against him before and he really improved.” – Dedich

Adam Plant, he’s a good performer. We have Bishop Gorman next year one of our first couple of games and it will be fun to battle him again.” – Murray

Adam Plant. He’s quick for a long guy.” – Sewell

BEST LINEBACKER

"Solomon Tuliaupupu is just an all-around baller." – Masina

"Noah Sewell is a younger guy, but he can handle his own." - Masina

BEST DEFENSIVE BACK

"Marcus Johnson was really fast and physical at corner." – Talley

“I would say Jaiden Woodbey, he did pretty good against me.” – Three-star DB Devon Cooley, Buena Park, Calif.
