IN HIS OWN WORDS
"They produce good wide receivers so if I want to be around good receivers and good defensive backs, this is the place for me," Jones said. "They put a lot of guys into the league.
"Coach Hartline he's just a cool dude," he said. "He really knows what he's doing. I don't have to worry about him leaving.
"It didn't look too much out of my range," said Jones. "Everybody was built like me and it seemed like a place I could learn more at."
RIVALS' REACTION
Jones is an explosive slot receiver who can be a dynamic playmaker with the ball in his hands. Yards after the catch should be a major concern for defenses when Jones gets the ball in his hands. He has a very solid built despite being on the smaller side so he shouldn't have an issue holding up against some of the more physical defenders he'll find at the next level. Jones is the first wide receivers to commit to Ohio State's 2025 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 3 overall in the Rivals Team Recruiting Rankings.
