Georgia WR Tommy Bush has entered the portal. Here’s our breakdown.
Recruiting: Bush took official visits to Georgia, Ole Miss, Michigan State and Nebraska before committing to the Bulldogs on National Signing Day. Baylor and Texas were also heavily involved at the end.
With the Bulldogs: Bush played in three games while with the Bulldogs, grabbing one reception. He missed the 2020 season due to injuries sustained after he was hit by a car.
Potential landing spots: Minnesota, Utah, Texas State, Baylor, TCU, Texas Tech, Virginia and others have been mentioned early.
Farrell’s Take: As you can see by his high school ranking, Bush has some serious upside with his size and length, and he can run a bit as well. He battled a groin injury early in his career and the car accident forced him to miss this past season. There also have been some concussion concerns. He’s intriguing as a prospect but hasn’t done a lot and is a long way from what he was in high school. Unless someone takes a chance at the Power Five level he’ll have to drop down.
