Top Performers: Under Armour Houston
Yesterday, a few hundred prospects gathered in Houston, Texas, to compete in the Under Armour Next Series camp. The roster in attendance was compiled of numerous division one prospects from the 2025, 2026, and 2027 classes.

There was not a prospect I was more excited to watch on Sunday than Jahkeem Stewart, and he did not disappoint. Stewart is such a physically imposing and dominant rusher all spots of the defensive line. He is ultra-competitive and seeks out top competition. He looked fantastic in individual drills and dominated the 1-on-1 portion of the camp. He is advanced from a physical and technical standpoint.
Andrew Marsh is a prospect who just continually impresses. Some in the industry have questioned his long speed to this point in his development, but I don't see any issues whatsoever. He is so technical and polished in his route running that any speed concerns are out the window. He creates separation at an elite levels, using different tempos and rhythms ins his movements. He is one of my favorites in the 2025 class.
This was the first time I watched Kaliq Lockett in person and he looked how I hoped. He is another route running specialist who also flashed his hands throughout the day. Even when defenders were able to close gaps on misfired throws, Lockett made the most of it and managed to reel the ball in.
Outside of Stewart, Lance Jackson was top defensive lineman of the day, in my opinion. He showed the ability to evade blocks and create opportunities to get to the passer. He has the size and twitch you look for in top pass rushers. Jackson, a Texas commit, certainly raised his stock on Sunday.
One of my favorite route runners I have seen this year, Kelshaun Johnson is a bit different than the prior two wideouts. While Marsh and Lockett like to use rhythm and misdirection in the route to separate, Johnson creates his opportunities on his release. He is exceptional at using the first three yards of space to shake his defender and push up the field. He worked at both inside and outside receiver during the camp.
A player who has seen his stock raise to new heights in the last month. After clocking a 10.4 100-meter dash and committing to LSU, Charles Ross was one of the best defenders of the day. He has the versatility to play several spots in the linebacker core and secondary. His size and speed will take him a long way.
By far the biggest surprise of the day, Michael Musquiz put his name on the map. Playing guard and center throughout the day, he had several highlight worthy efforts. His biggest of the day though was being the only player who managed to slow down No. 1 prospect Jahkeem Stewart. Musquiz was able to completely misdirect defenders on a number of his reps.
There were a handful of quarterbacks who had good days, but I kept going to back to Cole Bergeron on my player notes. He had a number of throws that stuck out in terms of ball placement and timing. He has great size at 6-foot-4, 200+ and only a 2026. I look forward to seeing his progression.
One of the best athletic showcases of the day. Chad Woodfork has the frame, the speed and most importantly, he showed he can rush the passer on Sunday. He broke out some impressive moves to evade blockers and put guys on their heels. He is certainly a speed rusher and will need to add some mass in the future, but he is impressive as is.
I have seen Romin Seymour on a few occasions in recent months, but this was by far the best I have seen him. He had velocity, accuracy, and was consistently nailing throws. Possesses a great frame at 6-foot-5, 192 pounds.
