Things are picking up for Tere Calloway and the Seattle (Wash.) Seattle Prep cornerback is especially excited after taking an unofficial visit on Saturday to Oregon State.
The Beavers have not offered but Calloway had a great time with Mike Riley and the rest of the coaching staff and he could return to Corvallis next month. Another offer might not be out of the question.

"Things are going really well," Calloway said. "I've been hearing from a lot more schools than I had previously been and there are a lot of schools showing interest and I'm building a good relationship with them.
"I love the coaching staff at Oregon State. The entire coaching staff, I don't think they were all supposed to be on campus because they had the day off, but they were all there and I talked a lot with coach Riley. It was good being around them, seeing the campus and they have a bunch of great people there. It's a real family environment down there."
Calloway, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound prospect, just picked up offers from SMU and Portland State and already had Colorado and Purdue on his list. UCLA, Syracuse, Central Florida and others continue to show interest.
Syracuse has talked about offering Calloway as a running back, he has a good relationship with UCLA assistant coach Marques Tuiasosopo and Central Florida continues to stay involved. Since so many schools are staying in the mix, Calloway said he's taking things slow.
"I'm taking it easy," Calloway said. "I'm not looking to make a decision until after my senior season."
The Seattle Prep cornerback said he's excited for his return to Oregon State in the coming months.
"I have a really good bond with their coaching staff and I really like what they have to offer there," Calloway said. "Coach Riley asked me to come back down and visit with them one-on-one in April. I'm looking forward to it."
