IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"I've talked before about longevity and relationships with coaches," White said. "Coach Elijah Robinson has been recruiting for as long as he's been allowed to recruit me. We've had that time to really build a relationship. He's also recruited kids from around here before me and he's from the area.

"It feels like home out there," he said. "I've got Tyreek Chappell, Elijah Jeudy, and Jahmir Johnson out there. It's a really comfortable place out there. I know I can lock in and I'll have my brothers around me that won't let me slip. It's a really good environment to go into. I'm a city kid and I want some differences. I don't want any distractions so I can do what I need to do.

"We're recruiting really well," said White. "We've got a lot of good young guys coming in. I'm going to go in and work. I don't care who is in front of me or who is behind me, I'm just going to work. I know I bring a lot to the table."

RIVALS' REACTION...

White is an explosive edge rusher that can really get to the quarterback. Offensive tackles left on an island to block him usually have a very long day. White has great quickness at the snap and uses his length to his advantage when trying to keep linemen from engaging him. The Texas A&M strength and conditioning staff will do a great job filling out his lean frame one he gets to College Station, which should help him handle the bigger and much stronger offensive linemen than he normally plays against.

Defensive line coach Elijah Robinson deserves the credit for White's commitment. The two have obviously built a strong relationship and Robinson has done an amazing job recruiting the Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey area for the Aggies over the last few recruiting cycles.
