Rivals Underclassmen Challenge: Prospects talk best game atmospheres
ATLANTA – The Rivals Underclassmen Challenge on Friday brought out the best of the best from across the country with all showing off their skills in Atlanta. The camp was loaded with top players that have already made the college football game-day rounds taking in the pageantry and tradition various universities have to offer. We got insight from eight different prospects on their best gameday atmosphere experience thus far.

“There have definitely been a few, but I went to the Florida vs. Alabama game – that game was super crazy. The fans were insane. I went to an LSU vs. Florida game at LSU – the fans at LSU are just absolutely insane. They will do anything for their players.”

“That’s hard because I went to a lot of games. I went to Iowa vs. Penn State, I was at Cincinnati vs. SMU – that was really loud, and I was also at the Ohio State game against Michigan. Iowa was probably the loudest out of all of them, Cincy was also really loud, but Michigan, you can’t really beat that atmosphere. They were tailgating way before the game started. It was snowing and cold, but the fans were still there. I would say that game and the Penn State game at Iowa those were the two games, and it is really hard to pick between those two. I was sitting next to my friend at the Penn State game, and we couldn’t hear each other. Overall, probably Michigan.”

“Florida State vs. Miami. That game was loud and packed. All of the fans were going crazy. Florida State came out with the dub, so they were going crazy.”

“By far the craziest game that I went to last year was BYU vs. Utah. Obviously, that is a heated rivalry game. I went there visiting BYU, it was crazy. That was the best gameday atmosphere I have been in for sure.”
