Demond Demas and Jordan Johnson are two of the biggest risers in the updated Rivals100. The wide receivers, who are committed to Texas A&M and Notre Dame, respectively, added their fifth stars after turning in fantastic springs on the camp and 7-on-7 circuits and during spring practices. The Rivals national analyst team takes a closer look at the new five-star receivers and who has a shot to finish as the No. 1 prospect at the position for 2020, a spot currently held by Ohio State commit Julian Fleming.

I’ve had the opportunity to watch Demas in person, and there was little doubt that he was a five-star talent. Demas is a freak when it comes to the measurables: 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, 37-plus-inch vertical and 4.4 speed. The Texas A&M verbal is a mismatch in the passing game as a big-play target downfield and a playmaker with the ball in his hands. Demas doesn’t just dominate 50-50 balls; he has a tremendous advantage due to his incredible leaping ability and strong hands. He has incredible body control that allows him to bend and twist to make difficult grabs look simple. Demas is a reliable target who can reel in tough catches in traffic. While he still needs to shore up his route running, there is no doubt that he can turn a 10-yard route into a 70-yard touchdown, due to his elite speed, ability to make defenders miss and his uncanny lateral quickness. - Sam Spiegelman, Texas & Louisiana Recruiting Analyst

This newly minted five-star could make a run at the No. 1 overall spot at the wide receiver position, and he will get a chance to state his case at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge later this month. It is difficult to pinpoint a weakness in the Notre Dame commit's game. He has size, he has speed and he has the ability to make plays other wide receivers do not. The only question Johnson can answer going forward is: Just how high is his ceiling? - Josh Helmholdt, Midwest Recruiting Analyst
