NOTRE DAME

Notre Dame locked in its quarterback commit back in June with Saline (Mich.) four-star CJ Carr as he maintains his position as the No. 15 recruit in the country in the recent update. The Fighting Irish have a second 6.0 in the 2024 update with West Bloomfield (Mich.) four-star Brandon Davis-Swain, who stayed put at No. 29 overall.

Five of Notre Dame's six commits in the 2024 class made the Rivals250, as Jack Larsen (No. 188), Peter Jones (No. 100) and Cam Williams (No. 103) all combine to help give the Fighting Irish the No. 1 overall class in 2024.

With Carr in the class and Davis-Swain leading the charge defensively, the ceiling in South Bend in 2024 is sky high.

FLORIDA STATE

Florida State is one of just two programs in the 2024 class with six commits, and that has the Seminoles sitting at the No. 2 spot in the rankings heading into the fall.

Albany (Ga.) Dougherty four-star running back Kameron Davis leads the way for the Seminoles at the No. 27 position, while CJ Heard (No. 127), Jordan Pride (No.130) and Camdon Frier (No. 151) maintained their spots in the Rivals250.

GEORGIA

The defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs are the highest-ranked program in the 2024 team rankings with three or fewer commits, as they sit firmly in the No. 3 spot after their trio of commits stayed high on the list.

Leading the way is high four-star tight end Landen Thomas, who ranks as the top tight end in the country and the No. 28 overall prospect. Just a few spots back at No. 36, four-star wide receiver Ny Carr maintained his position in the top 50 along with four-star running back and recent commit Tovani Mizell (No. 48).

OHIO STATE

Ohio State holds just one commitment in the 2024 class, but it's a big one. Chandler (Ariz.) five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola announced his commitment to the Buckeyes on May 9 and has been hard at work on recruiting targets in the 2023 and 2024 classes since. In the recent rankings update, Raiola saw a proper adjustment as he has taken firm control of the No. 1 overall spot.

With just the one pledge, Ohio State sits at the No. 10 spot in the 2024 team rankings and has the early foundation for yet another top-five class.

LSU

LSU went to work this summer at reeling in commits in both the 2023 and 2024 classes, as the current junior class was able to grow to four commits, which is now good enough for the No. 4 overall spot in the team rankings.

Leading the way is four-star athlete Joseph Stone Jr. at No. 135, followed by four-star safety Maurice Williams at No. 170 overall. The Tigers hold two additional commitments outside of the Rivals250 with Tayvion Galloway and Xavier Atkins, but the already established core for the Tigers' class has Brian Kelly and his staff seeking out a top five finish in 2024.
