UPDATED RANKINGS: Pro-style quarterbacks | Dual-threat quarterbacks

“Remaining the No. 1 overall player and the No. 1 quarterback in the country isn't as easy as Manning has made it seem throughout the 2023 cycle, but in looking at his game tape and four-year experience at New Orleans Isidore Newman, it's easy to see why he remains the top dog.

His physical skillset – combined with what he can do with his lively arm and game instincts – makes him an invaluable resource at the next level. Name aside, there is a lot to like about what Manning can do on the field from a game management perspective and a production standpoint.“ - Nick Harris, national recruiting analyst

Running back: Reuben Owens II

UPDATED RANKINGS: Running backs | All-purpose running backs

“The conversations about making El Campo (Texas) running back Rueben Owens II a five-star remain thick, but Owens will move forward as the No. 1 overall running back and the top four-star in the country, regardless of position. His production on the field during his four-year career topped 7,000 yards, and he is set to make a big impact at the All-American Bowl early next month.

"If he plays to his potential, it's easy to see five-star status awarded given his strong lower half and cutting ability. If that translates to the field against national competition, Owens should be able to secure that elusive honor.” - Harris

UPDATED RANKINGS: Wide receivers

"The debate about the top receiver in the 2023 class has been well documented, with everyone liking something different about Hykeem Williams, Zachariah Branch, Carnell Tate and Brandon Inniss. In our last release, Tate was tabbed the top receiver after the 7-on-7 and camp season, but Inniss got the nod this time around after factoring in his 2023 accomplishments.

"Inniss missed full-time duty as a junior, filling in at quarterback for the Patriots, but he was able to focus his skills at receiver in 2022. The results of having a quarterback delivering the ball to him: 58 receptions for 1,107 yards with 13 touchdowns through 13 games. Having the full season to line up on the outside showcased Inniss’ overall talents and special knack for turning a routine play into a highlight-reel worthy moment. Ohio State is getting a difference-maker in this five-star." - Ryan Wright, national recruiting analyst

Tight end: Duce Robinson

UPDATED RANKINGS: Tight ends

"Robinson is ranked as the No. 1 tight end in the 2023 class, but he's not your typical tight end. He plays more of a split-out receiver position. With his size, athletic ability, his unique skill to make tough plays look easy and all his physical gifts, Robinson is not only the top-rated player at his position but he's now a five-star.

"Every opponent knew the ball was coming Robinson's way and yet he still finished with 75 catches for 1,439 yards and 13 touchdowns. He's unstoppable, and that's why USC, Georgia and Texas are making him such a top priority." - Adam Gorney, national recruiting director

Offensive line: Kadyn Proctor

UPDATED RANKINGS: Offensive tackles | Offensive guards | Centers

"In a year loaded with talented offensive line recruits, it is Iowa commit Kadyn Proctor who stands out above the rest. The 6-foot-8, 335-pounder is a physical specimen with the athleticism, bend and overall skillset to be a dominant force the second he steps on a college campus.

"There are few weaknesses in Proctor's game, and his toughness combined with a physical style of play enables him to literally take the will out of defenders. Proctor is what a future No.1 pick looks like in high school and don't be surprised if you see him starting on Sundays in a few short years.

"Proctor committed to Iowa over Alabama and Oregon in June, but that hasn't prevented the Ducks from continuing their pursuit of the mammoth offensive tackle and Proctor recently took an official visit to Eugene.“ - Clint Cosgrove, national recruiting analyst
