Rivals.com national recruiting analyst Cole Patterson watched powerhouse Duncanville (Texas) roll to a dominant 49-3 win over Dallas Skyline recently.

Here are some thoughts from the action, highlighted by a pair of underclassmen that are set to become household names.

SPEED KILLS

Duncanville has no shortage of speed on the offensive side of the ball. Led by running back Caden Durham, who is set to also run track in college, the Panthers can score from anywhere on the field. Durham is a highlight reel waiting to happen each time that he touches the football and is coming off a game in which he scored two touchdowns.

Additionally, Duncanville features five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore on the outside. Another track star, Moore has the speed to take the top off the defense vertically as well as create explosive plays after the catch in the open field. Considered the No. 6 overall prospect in the 2025 class, Moore is as elite as it comes.

Both Durham and Moore are committed to LSU and are happy with their decisions to play for the Tigers.

NEXT UP

To no surprise, a program such as Duncanville has much more coming up in the pipeline. A pair of 2026 standouts are turning heads and making big impressions as sophomores for the powerhouse program out of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Kevin Ford Jr. is regarded as the top recruit in the Lone Star State for the 2026 cycle. A athletic defensive end, Ford is a natural at getting into the backfield and pressuring the quarterback. With Colin Simmons sidelined in the win, Ford was able to flash in a big way as he created havoc all game long and recorded a scoop-and-score in the first quarter. He has the makings of being a top-flight prospect.

Furthermore, Zachery Turner has also impressed me multiple times this season. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound pass catcher is proving to be a big play weapon for the Panthers. He can go up and get the football at its highest point as well as run after the catch for large gains. Turner hauled in a Hail Mary in contested coverage to end the half in his latest game.

Texas recently put an offer on the table for both DFW underclassmen and the two appear to be in line to be very coveted recruits throughout their recruiting process.

OTHER THOUGHTS

January may not receive the same amount of recognition or hype that other players in the program get, but he's a tough, physical defender in the middle of the trenches. He takes on blocks, stuffs the run and has the ability to pressure the QB. The Texas legacy is all-in on his future in Austin.

Dotson is arguably the crown jewel of SMU's recruiting haul this cycle as the four-star jumped into the Mustangs' class back in the summer when he announced live with Rivals.com. On the field, Dotson is a heat-seeking missile that plays with a lot of range when defending the run. It's easy to envision him making an impact quickly as the Mustangs move to the ACC.
