Many Pac-12 teams are putting their finishing touches on their 2017 recruiting classes even though the season just started. Here is a look at one remaining top target for each program in the conference.

ARIZONA
Graham had been committed to USC for months and it looked like the Trojans had him locked up, but the four-star cornerback reopened his recruitment and Arizona is a major player. The Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., standout really enjoyed a recent visit to Tucson, he could earn early playing time for the Wildcats and still be close enough to home should that be what he ultimately wants.
ARIZONA STATE
There are plenty of positive signs for the Sun Devils when it comes to Jackson, even if the four-star offensive tackle does not take an official visit. The local standout attended Arizona State’s win over Texas Tech last weekend and should return more times this season. Michigan, USC and Arizona also seem to be in contention, but the Sun Devils are also a big-time player in Johnson’s recruitment. What could also help ASU is that some teams are recruiting him for defense, but the four-star apparently has little interest in playing on that side of the ball.
CAL
Banks is the biggest player left on Cal’s board -– literally. The 6-foot-7, 335-pound prospect is taking his round of official visits and he was definitely impressed by Oregon this past weekend, but the Golden Bears should remain a contender. El Cerrito is only about six miles from Cal’s campus, so if he prefers to stay close to home then Cal is definitely a top spot for the massive offensive lineman.
COLORADO
There is some stiff competition out there for Rogers, who has a top five of Colorado, USC, UCLA, Arizona State and Oklahoma, but the Buffaloes are squarely in this one for many reasons. The four-star defensive lineman could play early in Boulder, he’s intrigued by the program and his opportunities there and his official visit in the first weekend of October could be huge for his decision-making process.
OREGON
The son of former Oregon standout Alex Molden, the four-star is definitely high on the Ducks and he could be an integral part of this recruiting class. Getting players from in the state would be no surprise, especially one whose family has a history with the program. Molden is a talented defensive back who could be used all over the field and might be a perfect fit in Eugene.
OREGON STATE
The Beavers could have an edge with the four-star prospect since receivers coach Dave Baldwin coached Hodgins’ father during his playing career at San Jose State. That could help Oregon State big-time as Hodgins’ recruitment continues. He is expected to take an official visit to Corvallis, he has already seen the town. If things go well, then anything could happen. Oregon, however, is still a major contender in the four-star receiver’s recruitment.
STANFORD
Sarell is the top target for Stanford, Washington, Notre Dame and also a major priority for Nebraska after the top-rated and five-star offensive tackle recently visited Lincoln. The Cardinal could have the slight edge in his recruitment though and it’s definitely not a surprise that Stanford could haul in the best offensive tackle in the country. Sarell is still open in his recruitment with important visits coming up but Stanford has to like its position.
UCLA
This is the hometown kid UCLA needs in this recruiting class. The five-star cornerback is supremely talented (he could flip over to wide receiver and be an instant impact player as well) plus he has a close connection to UCLA defensive backs coach Demetrice Martin. Holmes’ dad, Darick, and Martin grew up together, so there are some built-in advantages there. Michigan, Ohio State, Nebraska, Miami and others aren’t going to give up easily, but Holmes would be a huge get in the 2017 class.
USC
The five-star receiver just booked his official visit to Oklahoma for the Baylor game in November and will also take trips to Oregon, Nebraska and Alabama, but there’s no doubt USC is still a major contender and Lewis is one of the Trojans' top targets. Lewis is a fantastic outside receiver who could be much-needed in the passing game. His high school is only miles from USC’s campus and that could be a factor. There is a very real possibility Lewis leaves the state and plays at a major program elsewhere, but don’t discount the idea of him staying close to home and playing for the Trojans.
UTAH
Tufele is a top prospect in Utah and one of the best defensive tackles in the country, so it’s important -– if not crucial -– for the Utes to keep him home. The four-star prospect was one of the top recruits at the thrilling Utah-BYU game this past weekend. The Utes have definitely made him a priority and he would add to a long line of outstanding defensive linemen if he stayed in-state at Utah.
WASHINGTON
The Washington staff has done exceedingly well this recruiting cycle with in-state commits like four-stars Hunter Bryant and Connor Wedington and Sarell is obviously a top target, but landing Ahmed’s commitment would be huge, too. The four-star plays on the same 7-on-7 team as Bryant and Wedington, he’s super athletic and versatile and would be another outstanding piece to an already strong recruiting class.
WASHINGTON STATE
The way Washington State runs its offense, the Cougars could never have too many playmakers and Brooks fits that mold perfectly. He’s an undersized guy but super fast and shifty and the Cougars are one of the main contenders for his commitment at this point. Washington State throws the ball a lot and Brooks could be used in the pass or run game, so he’s a dual-threat in many ways.
