Headliner: Rivals250 DE Jake Lawler

Overview: North Carolina is at a crucial point as a program after last year’s success and it needs to keep the momentum going. Losing a commitment from Rivals250 running back Adarius Lemons hurt, but the Tar Heels still have a very good class and are filling positions of need with difference-makers. Lawler is a big-time pass rushing presence that also that the athleticism to drop into coverage. Four offensive linemen are already committed to North Carolina and they should help make life easier for quarterbacks down the road. There is also a lot to like about Rivals250 wide receiver Ryan Jones and the two other receivers that have committed.
