Mount Prospect, Ill. three star ranked offensive lineman recruit Eric Hedstrom (6-foot-6, 265 pounds) hosted his first in house head coach on Sunday afternoon.

Hedstrom talked about his first in home visit from Coach Tiller.
"It was just great to have him here, it was a real honor. We had a really good talk about the entire recruiting process, and we also talked about a bunch of different things like college life as well as what my role at Purdue would be. Coach also talked about how I would fit into the team's plans at Purdue, but we also talked about many different things away from football as well. I know that I was really impressed with Coach Tiller, and my parents were also very impressed with him as well."
Hedstrom was very blunt when talking about where the Boilermakers stand with him after his in home visit.
"I like Purdue, and after this in home visit I like them more and more. I haven't committed to anyone yet, and I'm going to also have an in-home visit with Randy Walker from Northwestern within the next few weeks. Once I'm done with those two in home visits I'm going to make my decision. Both Purdue and Northwestern are my final two schools. I'll decided between those two as my final college choice."
