THE SITUATION

Texas A&M lost a commit from four-star defensive back Bobby Wolfe on Saturday, the second time Wolfe has backed off a pledge to the Aggies during the 2019 cycle and his third decommitment overall. Wolfe had been committed to Texas A&M since July and was previously committed to the Aggies from February to March. The writing had been on the wall for another move from Wolfe as he continued to entertain overtures from other schools, most notably Arizona, where he is officially visiting this weekend.

WHAT'S NEXT

After a second split with the Aggies it's pretty unlikely he ends up back in the fold in College Station, as both sides will be going their separate ways. Wolfe made the announcement on his trip to Arizona, so it wouldn't be out of the question that he quickly makes the move to the Wildcats. Arkansas was also a contender for Wolfe when he committed to Texas A&M earlier this year, and the Hawgs could be an option going forward as well. Wolfe plans to wait until December to commit and sign with the school of his choice.
