IN HIS OWN WORDS...

"I've decided where I'm going," Grimes said. "We were going to wait until December 1st because we were going to figure out where I was going through the fall but since the coronavirus hit, we've moved it up because we're 100-percent on what we want to do.

"Texas A&M has definitely made a stronger approach since I put out my top four," he said. "Ohio State has kind of backed off a little but. I'm only hearing from coach Kerry Coombs. Georgia is still up there. I just FaceTimed the coaching staff the other day and that was amazing. North Carolina is still right there.

"Right now, we're planning on doing something with my family," said Grimes. "I'll also post a video on Twitter and Instagram."

RIVALS' REACTION...

This is a huge development in the recruitment of one of the nation’s best. Grimes has been focusing on Georgia, North Carolina, Texas A&M, and Ohio State but the battle has been mainly between the Bulldogs and Tar Heels. Grimes will announce his decision on Twitter and Instagram on June 30th.
