Libertyville High School (Ill.) offensive line prospect David Moosman (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) already is touting nine scholarship offers this spring, and Moosman has discovered that offer #10 is awaiting him in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
"The Michigan coaches were in school earlier this week," David Moosman said. "The Michigan coaches told my head coach (Randy Kuceyeski) that they were going to offer me a scholarship. So I called the coaches later on at night, and they indeed told me that they are going to offer me a scholarship, but that I need to make the trip to Ann Arbor in person before they will present me with the paperwork. I'm going to make a trip to Ann Arbor on May 7th."
Moosman added that, "I'm pretty excited about getting an offer from Michigan, it's different that they want to present my offer in person, then again if I was giving out scholarships to Michigan I would want to give them out in person as well. Michigan has a lot to offer both academically as well as on the football field, and I'm excited to draw an offer from them."
Libertyville High School also looks to be a hub of recruiting activity as well as college visits over the next few weeks. "Michigan and Boston College have already been in school, and according to my coach several schools are planning to be in over the next few weeks."
David Moosman now has early scholarship offers from Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Arizona, Illinois, Michigan State, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Kansas and Boston College.
