College football season is in full swing. Here is a look at which five running backs to start on your fantasy football team for Week 2.

Anderson had 100 rushing yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. That’s right, he averaged 20 yards per carry in a blowout over FAU. He should have another huge performance against UCLA this weekend, especially after the Bruins gave up 142 rushing yards and three touchdowns to Cincinnati running back Michael Warren. Anderson is one of the best backs in college football - far more skilled than Warren - and so the Sooners’ ground attack should be rolling this weekend.
It’s not difficult to advise to put Taylor in your fantasy starting lineup, but he should have an especially big weekend for the Badgers. The Heisman contender is coming off a performance of 145 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries plus New Mexico’s rush defense was deplorable this past weekend. Ra’Quanne Dickens from Incarnate Word had 110 rushing yards and a touchdown and Ameer King had 81 yards (each RB had only seven carries) in the loss to the Lobos last weekend. Some Wisconsin pass catchers are questionable early in the week, so Taylor could carry the load even more.
Against a decent Wyoming defense, Williams led the Cougars in rushing with 82 yards and a touchdown and he added a game-high 10 catches for 53 yards and another score. He has to be licking his chops against a God-awful San Jose State defense this week. In a 44-38 loss to UC Davis this past weekend, San Jose State gave up 446 passing yards and 589 total yards. Try to name one player on UC Davis. Exactly. Williams could have a monster game running and catching the ball against the Spartans.
Oregon State got waxed by Ohio State last weekend, 77-31, but what might have been lost in that mess was that Beavers running back Artavis Pierce actually had a big performance. Pierce rushed 11 times for 168 yards and two touchdowns averaging 15.3 yards per carry against a Buckeyes’ defense that is supposed to be lights out. Southern Utah gave up 204 rushing yards and 554 total to North Alabama last weekend. The Beavers could hand it to Pierce often as they look to pile on for their first win in more than a year.
It's OK if Baylor had two 100-yard rushers against Abilene Christian because Lovett still got his, leading the Bears with 12 carries for 115 yards and two touchdowns. As Baylor works on which quarterback will lead the team for the rest of the season, coach Matt Rhule might lean on the running backs even more especially going against UTSA, which allowed 266 rushing yards (7.4 yards per carry) this past weekend to Arizona State.
