In the season-opener against Southern, Robinson threw for three touchdowns and rushed for two others. That is an excellent start for the former three-star quarterback. There’s another huge opportunity for Robinson this weekend against SMU because the Mustangs gave up 444 passing yards and three TDs to North Texas’ Mason Fine in the season-opener (Fine did throw it 50 times though). If Fine can dominate that way, Robinson and his band of outstanding receivers should have a field day.

The Washington State quarterback competition seems settled and East Carolina transfer Minshew is the man. And he had a big game last weekend against a decent Wyoming defense with 319 passing yards with three touchdowns and a pick. Minshew had 57 pass attempts in coach Mike Leach’s offense. UC Davis threw for 446 yards against San Jose State last weekend, so the Cougars’ quarterback should be able to put up serious numbers.

Dungey showed off his dual-threat capabilities in a Week 1 win over Western Michigan, throwing only 17 times for 184 yards and two touchdowns and also rushing 15 times for 200 yards and a score. Wagner gave up 365 yards in a win over Bowie State last weekend. There’s no reason to believe Dungey won't post huge stats this weekend in coach Dino Babers’ fast-paced offense.

Against an SEC defense with some talented players in the secondary, Grier threw for 429 yards and five touchdowns in West Virginia’s dominant win over Tennessee. He has so many outstanding targets in the passing game and coach Dana Holgorsen gives Grier the freedom to let it fly. Youngstown State gave up 253 passing yards in a loss to Butler last weekend. Grier could pad his stats even more this Saturday.

Herbert was a fantasy owner’s dream in Week 1 throwing for 281 yards and five touchdowns with two interceptions along with 41 rushing yards and a TD in Oregon’s blowout win over Bowling Green. Well, Portland State gave up 636 total yards (420 passing) and 72 points to Nevada. It would be mind-boggling to think Herbert won’t put up massive numbers in the first half and call it a day.
