Bryan still solid with Bears
DALLAS - When it came down to making a decision about his college choice, Dallas (Texas) Carter High School cornerback Antareis Bryan sat down and made a "family decision."
Bryan, a 6-foot, 165-pound defensive back received a Baylor offer towards the end of the summer, made his commitment, and apparently hasn't looked back since. Colorado has been one school still showing him interest, but right now he seems pretty solid with the Bears.
"They've been calling so I've kind of been thinking about a visit, but right now I'm still committed to Baylor," Bryan said. "Those are my only plans right now. I'm just trying to stay focused on winning a state championship."
When Bryan and his family sat down, it was a matter of him sleeping on it and then pulling the trigger.
"It was a long talk with my family," Bryan said about the time leading up to his decision. "It just came out to be the best place for me. Right now, it's all about what my family thinks is best for me. I'm a solid commitment until they feel otherwise."
Not only does Bryan thank his family for what he's been able to do, but he also has had a lot of help from his teammates.
"They keep you up and keep you confident," he said. "I've been able to lean on them and that's why I've had success and we've been winning as a team."
