Recruiting wrap: A one-time Alabama commit, Akers now seems particularly high on LSU, Ole Miss and Ohio State.

Performance: Akers has a remarkable build and looks like a college senior more than a high school senior. Strength and power are big parts of his game, but the quickness and burst he showed in the passing game at the New Orleans camp sets him apart from other power backs. Not only is Akers physically impressive, he may be as versatile a running back as there is in the 2017 class. – Rivals.com Southeast Recruiting Analyst Rob Cassidy

Recruiting wrap: The top-rated all-purpose back in the class is considered a soft commit to USC. He is expected to take multiple official visits.

Performance: Carr showed at the Los Angeles camp that he’s as talented as any running back out there and can be an asset in numerous ways. The four-star can beat linebackers consistently with his speed and moves, and he can stretch the field because of his excellent hands. The four-star USC commit has excellent size, he can run between the tackles, he can line up in the slot and catch passes. Carr has shown there is very little he cannot do on the football field. – Rivals.com National Recruiting Analyst Adam Gorney

Recruiting wrap: Harris is committed to Alabama but has taken visits.

Performance: Harris can do it all. The five-star and second-best player overall in the class has tremendous size, speed, playmaking ability and everything else to set him apart in this running back class. He’s as close of a mix between Derrick Henry and Todd Gurley as they come but he has surprising speed for his size and he catches the ball almost as well as any receiver in this class. Harris is special, had great moments at the Los Angeles camp and seems to dominate every event. Plus the kid loves to compete. – Gorney

Recruiting wrap: Robinson is committed to Alabama and likely to sign with the Tide.

Performance: Robinson was nothing short of dominant in Atlanta. He's a rare combination of size and speed, and he stood out from the pack from the jump. Not only was Robinson remarkably consistent in drills and one-on-one work, but he flashed tremendous hands and acceleration. A majority of the reps he took were won deep downfield with sharp cuts and devastating breakaway quickness. - Cassidy

Recruiting wrap: Swift is planning official visits to Georgia, Florida State, Clemson, Penn State and Alabama at this point. Georgia is probably out in front of the others with the Seminoles and Crimson Tide giving chase.

Performance: Swift was simply unstoppable at the New Jersey Rivals Camp. He has really improved his route-running skills and looked much more agile. There weren't any linebackers that could keep up with Swift and he caught every ball he could reach. Swift also has a powerful running style that he used to run through contact with defenders in the open field. – Rivals.com Mid-Atlantic Recruiting Analyst Adam Friedman
