Recruiting wrap: Igbinoghene is committed to Auburn

Performance: One of the week’s pleasant surprises, Igbinoghene stood out from the week’s first practice and looked explosive all week. He made some of the week’s most difficult catches and showed a nice burst out of his breaks. Igbinoghene lacks size, but he’s certainly big enough to be effective. He led Team Alabama with four catches in the game.

Recruiting wrap: A one-time Ole Miss commit, Gay is considering a number of schools including Mississippi State and Michigan.

Performance: Gay exceeded lofty expectations all week and showed incredibly light feet to go along with his thick build. He made a one-handed interception in a midweek practice that stood as the play of the week. He looked like a Rivals250 prospect from start to finish.

Recruiting wrap: Moultry is committed to Auburn

Performance: Moultry’s explosiveness and relative speed turned heads all week at practice. His length and quickness made him look like the most complete linebacker at the event.

Recruiting wrap: Ruggs is down to Florida, Florida State and Alabama.

Performance: Ruggs was up and down all week. Still, when he was good, he was great. He returned the game’s opening kickoff for a touchdown and showed his incredible top-end speed in the process. Ruggs lacks the height of an elite receiver. That said, his burst allows him to create separation even from high-level defensive backs

Recruiting wrap: Johnston has already officially visited Iowa and Arkansas. He is likely to visit Ole Miss and LSU in January.

Performance: After a quiet week of practice, Johnston exploded during the game. At one point, he dragged down five-star running back Cam Akers on four straight plays and took home MVP honors following the contest. Johnston still needs to add size, but he moves well and boasts impressive athleticism. He showed himself to be a sure tackler as well.

Recruiting wrap: Brennan is committed to LSU but is considering Oklahoma State, Baylor and others.

Performance: By far the best quarterback on either side, Brennan is a prototype pro-style passer with nice feet and a strong arm. He showed some impressive touch on deep balls and threw the ball downfield relatively effortlessly. He wasn’t perfect and was hit by a rough practice early in the week, but the good far outweighed the bad. He completed 11 of the 15 passes he threw during Saturday’s game.

Recruiting wrap: Gilbert holds limited scholarship offers and seems to favor Troy for the time being.

Performance: Gilbert is another prospect that spent the week turning heads. He was one of the more impressive defensive backs at the event despite boasting a short offer list. He has incredible length and breaks on the ball incredibly well.

Recruiting wrap: Britt is committed to Auburn.

Performance: Britt is one of the more vocal players in the country and immediately assumed a leadership role in the all-star setting. He broke the team down following every practice, but it was his play during those practices that allowed him to stand out. Britt carries almost no bad weight and is incredibly explosive for his size. He made his mark during drills and full-squad workouts. Britt caused a fumble with a jarring hit during the game.

Recruiting wrap: Akers will land at Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida State or LSU.

Performance: Akers carried the ball 19 times for 67 yards in Saturday’s game. He was quiet in most practices but showed incredible burst and carried a college-ready build. Akers, who runs with tremendous power, does so many things well, that pinpointing his strength is difficult. He appears to be a truly complete running back.

Recruiting wrap: Chambers is committed to Duke.

Performance: Chambers looked like a prospect that should have double the amount of offers he holds, but Duke fans probably won’t be too upset about his lack of opportunity. Chambers has an incredibly wide frame and a strong lower body. He manhandled a handful of prospects that carry lofty rankings. He was pretty quiet in Saturday’s game, but did more than enough work in practice to land on this list.

Recruiting wrap: Jackson is considering Auburn, North Carolina, South Carolina and others.

Performance: Jackson’s size jumps off the page. He has incredible length and the muscle of a college-ready prospect. He was a nightmare in team drills and he sliced into the backfield routinely and batted balls at the line of scrimmage. There’s a reason major programs are in pursuit of his letter of intent.
