Yarbrough excited about 1st visit

Chula Vista (Calif.) Eastlake linebacker Marcus Yarbrough had another big season for the third year in a row. The athlete has a solid top five right now and will be taking his first official visit this weekend.
A year ago, Yarbrough was the only junior named to the all-San Diego section team and also earned 1st team all-state underclass honors after totaling 141 tackles, 15 for loss and eight sacks. He finished up with 130 tackles and six sacks this past season and should receive more post season honors for his efforts.

On the recruiting front, Yarbrough has a trip planned this week and is hopeful a few more offers will be on the way.
"Colorado State is the only school that has offered me so far and I'm going to visit there this weekend," Yarbrough said. "They have a great coaching staff there and I really like them a lot. They came in for a home visit last week and my family really likes those guys so I'm looking forward to the trip to see what it's like there.
"The other schools I like are UCLA, Arizona, Oregon and USC. I went to two UCLA games this past season and I like the team and the campus. UCLA is a really nice place and I love the area. I camped at Arizona over the summer and they're recruiting me pretty good right now. There talking to me about playing defensive end as well as linebacker.
"Oregon has a great football team and I enjoyed watching them play this year. Plus I like how their tight with Nike and the school really puts a lot of money in to the football program. With USC, what can you, they have the best football program in the nation and they're just a powerhouse right now."
