Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt wide receiver Julian Harrell took his second official visit of the season this past weekend. The trip turned out to be the 6-foot-2, 216-pounder's last as he made a commitment while he was there.

"I committed today to Miami (Ohio)," he said. "I did it before they had a staff meeting. All of the coaches were really excited and shocked. They made me feel really good about it. They let me into the staff meeting and applauded me."
What made Harrell pick Miami (Ohio)?
"It was just the way I felt down there," he said. "It's a little town, but I felt comfortable. It's a smaller school and all the teammates were close to each other. They are a real young team too, so they'll be good for years to come. Their coach talked a lot about how he wants them to be like Hawaii and Boise State, they want to go to BCS games and the schedule the next few years is amazing."
Did anything else stick out about the visit?
"I liked how I was cool with everyone," he said. "Everybody introduced themselves and they all seemed close. The coaches are great as well. You can talk to them about your personal life and school. In addition, the academics played a real big part too. They are great and so are the facilities."
The two-star prospect will have a chance to step right in for a spot at Miami (Ohio) this fall.
"They have three different wide receiver spots and they aren't sure which one I could play. I could play all three," he said. "They told me I come in and focus I could play early since I'm already big enough."
Harrell selected Miami (Ohio) over offers from Michigan State, Duke, Buffalo and Akron.
