Wicker discusses final three

Joseph Wicker still has a final three of Arizona State, Texas Tech and UCLA and he has one official visit with the Bruins remaining this weekend.
On Thursday night, the Long Beach (Calif.) Poly four-star defensive tackle had an in-home with Texas Tech and things went well. Wicker loved his visit to Lubbock during the season and likes what the Red Raiders are saying.

"They just wanted to tell me where I fit in and tell me the schemes they run and break it down to my parents," Wicker said. "I know everything so they wanted to break it down for my parents.
"The game was the biggest thing and then the players. They have a lot of players from California I know. The game was crazy. Their fans are crazy. It's a college town so it's fun."
Wicker, rated as the No. 12 defensive tackle and No. 95 overall by Rivals.com, had his in-home with UCLA on Wednesday. The meeting went well but Wicker is especially excited to take his official this weekend to really get the feel in Westwood.
"It was cool," Wicker said. "I'm taking my visit this next weekend so they really wanted to break down everything because they haven't talked to me about everything with what I'm playing, the defense they run and how I fit in their system.
"As soon as I take this visit to UCLA because I've never actually been there, once I do that I should be cool with knowing."
The four-star is expected to have an in-home visit with Arizona State this week. He has already taken his official to Tempe as well. Wicker had said he would like to go to school a little away from home but as time goes on the Long Beach Poly standout doesn't hold that belief as much.
"It's not really that big of a priority," Wicker said. "I said that but as time passes on I shy away from it and then go back. Everything changes for me by experiencing different things and people telling me different things."
In his senior season after moving from defensive end to defensive tackle, Wicker finished with 138 tackles and 18 sacks.
