LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Jarren Williams did it again. On June 19, 2016, the 6-foot-3, 205 pound quarterback out of Lawrenceville (Ga.) Central Gwinnett committed to Kentucky. After staying solid to the Wildcats for over nine months, Williams started to take visits to Alabama, Florida, Florida State, LSU and Tennessee before decommitting April 24, 2017.
After listening to multiple coaches and seeing them flock to his high school the past three weeks, Williams committed to Kentucky again Monday, May 15.
Why is this commitment different? Did any school truly threaten the Wildcats? What pushed him back to Lexington (Ken.)? He answers all of the tough questions and details his decision in the interview below.
