Whole new ball game for Tarrant

Things are shifting a lot for Dallas (Texas) Samuel running back Cornell Tarrant. His first visit was supposed to be to Kansas on Dec. 9 and then to Utah on Dec. 16. However, weather and scheduling conflicts have switched the whole plan up.
Tarrant, a three-star rated prospect, was going to drive up to Kansas so his mother could find out how far it would be to go see her son. Bad weather made it impossible to drive, so the 5-foot-11, 185-pound runner changed up that visit. Utah was up next, but that has changed as well.

Things are getting clear now.
"Everything has been rearranged," Tarrant said. "Jan. 6 will be the first visit I take and I'm definitely going to be making four visits to Texas A&M, Kansas, Kansas State, and SMU. The only problem is I don't know which one will be first on that weekend. I'll be seeing all of those though."
Though there are plenty of options, Tarrant says he's unsure of a top team even with Signing Day approaching quickly.
"I want to see what everyone has to offer on each visit before I start talking about that stuff," Tarrant said.
One team that has popped up as a new main team for the No. 51 rated runner is Kansas State. Tarrant says the new coaching staff really jumped on him after seeing his tape.
"Kansas State came by last week and they're really coming in late ever since Bill Snyder stepped down," Tarrant said. "So, they're in the race now and I'll be visiting there for sure."
