ATLANTA -- Four-star tight end Jimmy Jaggers updated his recruiting status at the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge Media Day.

THE LATEST: Jaggers is planning to visit Florida on Monday and then the four-star tight end will see USC and UCLA once more before making a summer decision.

The Roseville, Calif., standout said the two Pac-12 programs are definitely high on his list but Jaggers wants to see Gainesville and what the Gators have to offer before making any commitment.

IN HIS WORDS: “I’m definitely going to give them a serious look. The way they recruit me and the way they use their tight end is great and I really like their coaching staff, too.”

RIVALS’ REACTION: Jaggers is hoping to make a decision in mid-July before his senior season and it looks like the two Southern California schools among others could really be battling it out for one of the best tight ends in the West.

Florida could be interesting. If the four-star loves his trip next week to Gainesville, then the Gators could become a serious contender. But as it stands now it looks like the Trojans and Bruins could be fighting it out for Jaggers, a huge tight end who could be used in a lot of ways.
