Colby Bowman has been to Cal before.

The 2019 three-star receiver from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco visited Berkeley this summer, landed an offer from the Golden Bears and is definitely interested.

Maybe now more than ever after he was in town this past weekend for the thrilling Arizona matchup

“I had a fantastic time,” Bowman said.

“The atmosphere was awesome and that game was so good. A lot of the recruits were good friends of mine so it made the experience even better being there with some of my boys. The coaching staff made us all feel very welcomed like they always do. I'm very happy I got to make it up to see such a great game.”

So far, the 2019 receiver has landed offers from Air Force, Arizona State, Boston College, Cal, Colorado, Fresno State, Nevada, Oregon, San Jose State, Stanford, UCLA and Utah.

Bowman said he has not received much new interest but there is one school that has reached out and captured his attention.

“I've been receiving a good amount of mail from Notre Dame and coach (Brian) Polian has contacted me a couple times,” Bowman said.

The Bosco standout has taken some important visits recently.

Over the summer, Bowman was back at Stanford, a school that he rates high on his list and could be tough to beat as his recruitment continues. He also recently visited UCLA to tour its new facilities and seemed thoroughly impressed. If he decides to stay home, the Bruins could be high on his list.
