“Tennessee, Virginia, and Virginia Tech are my three leaders right now,” admitted Cheeseman. “Both of the Virginia schools have good coaching staffs and solid academics. Tennessee has good national exposure, but I don’t know too much else about them right now.”
Cheeseman admits that the recruiting process has slowed in recent weeks although both Virginia and Virginia Tech are recruiting him the hardest right now.
“Virginia and Virginia Tech both offer me the opportunity to play on either side of the ball while Tennessee only wants me as a defensive back,” said Cheeseman. “I’d like to play on offense if I got the chance.”
What’s Cheeseman looking for in a schools?
“I’m looking hard at the state of the program, the academics of the university, and location,” Cheeseman explained. “I don’t want to play in a big city, but I don’t necessarily want to be in a remote atmosphere either.”
Cheeseman plans to decide after the season and will take official visits during the fall. He may not take all of his visits, but his three current favorites will likely all get visits.
