Head coach Ron Zook and the Illinois Fighting Illini have long been in pursuit of four-star offensive lineman Chris Bryant. Competition has been fierce for the 6-foot-5, 330-pound senior from Chicago (Ill.) Simeon, but persistence and coaching changes at a couple of other schools has Illinois in the mix as Bryant's recruitment winds down. He'll be in Champaign this weekend.
