VA DB Redd visits Duke

One of the more promising 2016 players in Virginia is Traveon Redd. The defensive back from Ridgeway (Va.) Magna Vista already has an offer from Old Dominion but an ACC school he visited last weekend could be the next one to pull the trigger.
"The Duke visit went great," said the 5-foot-11, 180-pound Redd. "I got to talk to two of the coaches. I saw the facility and we went out to eat. We talked about education and we were there for a long time. They want me to come back down to see the head coach."

There were more than a few memorable things about the visit for Redd.
"What stuck out to me was that 100 percent of their athletes graduate," he said. "That stunned me because other schools said around 50 percent of their students graduate. That basically guaranteed me a degree. When they took me out to eat it was the first time I went out to eat on a visit. It shows how interested they are in me so that stuck out."
Redd is unsure of where or when his next visit will be.
Schools like Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, Vanderbilt and many others are showing interest in Redd.
