By the time May rolls around, most of the Class of 2016 will be getting ready to leave home to start their academic and athletic careers in college. But May 2 will mark a big day for uncommitted five-star Savannah (Ga.) Christian athlete Demetris Robertson, as he will finally announce his college destination.

According to his brother and guardian Carlos Robertson, Demetris will announce his decision in a ceremony at his high school on May 2. The versatile athlete is down to Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame, California and Georgia Tech and according to Carlos has already made a decision.

"He has his mind made up," Carlos said via text message.

The question is now is which team has the edge? Robertson most recently visited Georgia and also signed a non-binding grant-in-aid with the Bulldogs as well. Georgia coach Kirby Smart has openly discussed Robertson in interviews and on social media.

Robertson has signed the same agreements with Cal and Georgia Tech as well, but did not sign one with Notre Dame or Alabama.

Robertson has said in various interviews over the past few months that he intends to compete in track and football in college and also hopes to attend the same school as his twin sister, who also has aspirations to compete in college track.
